Se*lah, January 18th, 2009. The Second Sunday after Epiphany.
What were we seeking?
Water turned into wine
How it was then and how is still is today
How did we seek?
We sang songs, colored, prayed, read, and talked about the Second Sunday after the Epiphany
What did we find?
Mary, Jesus, and the disciples were at the wedding feast and they ran out of wine at the feast. Jesus told the servants to fill the stone water jars to the top with water. The servants gave the man water that had been turned into wine.
and how Epiphany relates to “D Day” - the day God stormed to earth, to claim back what had been lost and to restore life to as He intended it to be.
How then shall we live?
Looking and searching for the ordinary Jesus makes extraordinary

Se*lah, January 11th, 2009, celebrating the feast of the theophany!
We found a new way to seek God this week. We sought through Baptism. We read a passage that includes The Holy Trinity and John the Baptist. We also asked Hannah and Seth (the new youth ministry assistant) ,who got baptised at an older age, to tell of thier experiances and what they feel about being Baptised later on. We found that there are pretty much two phases of baptism, the water and the confirmation. The confirmation piece is like the spirit entering our souls and lives. We sould live like GOD has intended. We should live as though the spirit comes to us every day not just when we are baptised or confirmed. – Hannah Impeartrice.
