“Cease Striving and Step Out Of the Traffic. Take a long, loving look at God.”
- Psalm 41, The Message.

Every Sunday evening, we gather together in our “holy” living room and we step out of the traffic.   This blog happens to our attempt to step out of the traffic  on the days inbetween Sunday.   This blog is our way of creating a holy spot on the internet.   We don’t post all the time.   But we post when we have something to offer.   We post when we pilgrim.   We post when we retreat.    We post so that others might be invited into the adventures of holiness we undertake.

We are a community of young and older, of friends and companions, of seeker and finders, of followers and leaders and of pilgrims and disciples. We are a community of knights, younglings and masters. We are a community of St. Paul’s, Franklin

We are a community of young people and adults who are trying to shape their lives around following Jesus. Together we aim not just simply to go to church but to actually be the church: participating in the hope that God brings to this world. And together we try to create a sanctuary in which to take refuge from the craziness of life allowing God to form us as Followers of the Way.

So side by side, laughing, crying, playing and praying, we journey together, never sure exactly what adventure will befall us, never sure exactly what front will move through. And just like the knights, the pilgrims and disciples (of truth and fiction), we trek this Way in search of God’s presence in this world discovering along the Way not only who God made us to be, but who God is calling us to become.

“I came that you might have life, better life than you believe possible.” -Jesus (John 10:10).

“Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God.” (I Peter 1:18)

We are a community of St. Paul’s in Franklin, TN.
